A series of audio-based English lessons for students in grades 4–8 who are just beginning to learn language, using familiar themes like Pesach, Shabbat, and Purim so students can focus on language without new content. Each lesson includes five short audio parts: a bilingual introduction, pre-teaching of key vocabulary in Hebrew and English, an engaging story, a catchy song to reinforce vocabulary, and simple English comprehension questions. The program is designed to work entirely through audio, with no need for screens, worksheets, or internet, making it especially suitable for distance learning through the phone system.
Each episode in this series brings a Mishna from Pirkei Avot to life in English. Students listen to the Mishna in Hebrew and English, learn key vocabulary words, and hear a short story that connects the Mishna's lesson to everyday life. Each episode also includes three listening comprehension questions for class discussion. Work in Progress.
